Endometriosis 2024

Welcome to our office—we look forward to working with you on your concerns about endometriosis. This condition can be a problem with severe cramps, premenstrual spotting, irregular bleeding, loss of work and/or fertility issues.

Expectations:

1. First visit—careful history and ordering of labs and US and review of prior testing. 

Begin Creighton Method Charting or Kindara app; serial urine hormone profile with Mira machine.

Initial lab panel including thyroid test.

2. Second visit—review of results and physical exam and cultures and dynamic US by Dr. K

3. Third visit-

start CPRT (prog support); 

NSAIDs,

Lysteda support for heavy bleeding; 

sometimes Orilissa if pregnancy not desired; 

if pregnancy desired—often Clomid after results reviewed.

Physical therapy regimen

Vitamin and diet support and analysis 

4. First 1-3 months will be frequent visits to assess and reassess treatments and successes.

5. 4th month-in some cases, the progress may be a little slow-then we will plan together a presurgical MRI and discuss Robotic Excision of Endometriosis Surgery
